JOB TITLE: Grounds Maintenance OperativeLOCATION: Horndean–Covering Horndean, Petersfield, Ham Barn, Liss & surrounding SALARY: Up to £24,960 DOE + van + benefitsDURATION: 12 week Temporary to go to Perm103247The Employer:We are looking to fill the role of a Grounds Maintenance Operative within a housing environment, Our client is one of the largest Social |Housing providers in the South of England, they are ambitious and have a huge 5 year plan which we are seeking a GMO to assist with, their main aim is to create a sustainable future for social housing, building new homes and investing in existing ones creating vibrant, thriving communities.The Role:
1. Responsible for the delivery of the Grounds Maintenance service to the communal areas of our clients managed estates
2. Using a PDA Reporting system to record site visits and record tasks carried out
3. To include grass cutting, hedge cutting, pruning, weed control, litter picking, and other works
4. Ensuring that equipment is regularly washed, kept clean and in good condition and report any defects to the supervisor.
5. Ensuring that all vehicles are kept clean with regular checks to oil and coolant levels reporting any defects to the fleet manager.
