Many of the valves are automated to customer specifications in our well- equipped workshop. Our products have a high-quality standard. Due to increasing activities and growth, we are looking for a shop floor technician.
The individual should be able to construct, assemble, automate or rebuild valves and actuators, in addition to Repairs and Services.Responsibilities:Operating Machine or Equipment – Operate basic equipment and machines and carry out routine tasks as per work instructionsOperations Management – Carry out operational tasks by following established processesEquipment Maintenance and Repair - Help to maintain and repair equipment and appliances by carrying out preparations and providing assistanceHealth, Safety and Environment – Follow basic mandatory work instructions to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and othersOperational Compliance – Follow a straightforward mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conductInternal Communications – Exchange information with people by having courteous interactions with themOther duties as assignedRequirements:Valve knowledgeExperience in control and isolation valve assembly, actuators, accessories, automation services, pressure testing, positioner calibration etcAdequate knowhow to troubleshoot valves and actuators that come for repairFamiliarity with instrumentsAbility to read and understand assembly, component installation and schematic drawings .Verbal Communication – Uses clear and effective elementary verbal communication skills to express ideas and request actionsPlanning and Organizing – Works with guidance plan, organization, and prioritize activities to efficiently meet business objectivesPolicy and Procedures - Works with guidance to understand policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectivesHealth and Safety - Applies elementary concepts to manage and apply safe systems of workEquipment Utilization - Works to optimize the utilization of production plant, equipment, and materialsWhat Flowserve can offer you:An unique opportunity and the next step in your Flowserve careerA nice workplace where everyone collaborates and respects each otherAn employer that takes care of your safety and your careerReq ID : R-13111Job Family Group : OperationsJob Family : OP Repair MechanicEOE including Disability/Protected Veterans.
