We are looking for a Inpatient Healthcare Assistant to join team in our Practice Plus Group Hospital, Ilford. Working as a Health Care Assistant you'll provide support to the nursing staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of a high standard of care to patients in a safe and caring environment. Above all, you have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling and want to work in an environment where the work can be hard, but also fun and rewarding. This Vacancy is 37.5 hours a week, the shifts are long and run from 7am - 7.30pm with typical shifts between 07.00-19.30 and nights 19.00-07.30 If you would like to see what its like working for the Practice Plus Group please see the video below What you'll be doing You will be a Valued member of the Ward team, support the professional staff with the overall care for all patients in the department. you will welcome and greet patients to the department, a ssist in preparing patient for Theatre informing the Nurse in charge of any potential worries or issues. Ensuring all patient tests results are in patients file for surgery, e nsuring all patient medication is locked in Medical drawer and a ssisting in the ordering and monitoring of stores and stock. We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard, learn and develop in the role, but most importantly someone who understands the value of team work and a good work ethic Experience or a good understanding of a HCA duties and responsibilities Experience in Caring for others The ability to receive and communicate information accurately and take instruction from professional colleagues. Professional telephone manner What we'll look for in you We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard, learn and develop in the role, but most importantly someone who understands the value of team work and a good work ethic. The ideal applicant will have You will have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and be willing to undertake training to gain further clinical skills.
