Job summary This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist with experience in dysphagia to join the team based at Royal Derby Hospital, as part of the Derbyshire Community Health Services Service Level Agreement. We are looking for an HCPC and RCSLT registered Speech and Language Therapist with developed skills working with adults. As a clinical employee it will be your responsibility to ensure that your behaviour and values reflect those set out in the DCHS Way. Main duties of the job You will be proficient in your abilities to deliver dysphagia input to an acute hospital setting. As an SLT service we cover 39 wards including respiratory, general medicine, surgery, Intensive Care, and care of the elderly. You will have a commitment to providing a high standard of patient-focused care and be a strong team player. We would consider applications from suitably experienced B5 SLTs and would consider a transitional post. It is Trust policy that for posts that are for a time limited period, applicants who are currently employed by an NHS organisation will only be appointed on a secondment basis and should have approval from their line manager if this is possible before applying.
