We have 9 medical wards based on the William Harvey Hospital site. We currently have vacancies on our Healthcare for Older People (HCOOP) wards, Respiratory ward, and our general medical ward including secondment opportunities for our Respiratory Assessment Day Unit.

Main duties of the job
To provide high-quality clinical care to patients, in line with the Trust values and in accordance with professional regulations. Accept delegated responsibility for specific activities/areas from the senior Nurse in Charge. Work autonomously and with others to always deliver high standards of care to patients and their carers. Communicate in line with Trust values, to patients, carers, and staff at all times. Take every opportunity to continue to develop, practice and expand their own general and specialist nursing skills.

Qualifications and Training
* Recent clinical experience in an Acute Trust.
* Delivery of evidence-based practice.
* Demonstrates patient-focused approach.
* Previous experience at Band 5 within specialty.
* Evidence of facilitating learning in practice.
* Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development.
Clinical Skills and Experience
* Patient-focused approach.
* Basic IT skills.
* Ability to develop working relationships with others.
* Time management and personal organization skills.
* Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally. The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
Governance
