Residential Children's Support Worker and Senior
Location: Moreton and Wavertree, UK
Salary: £34,300 - £39,200 (inclusive of sleep-ins) dependent on experience & qualifications
Shift Pattern: 2 on (plus sleep-ins), 4 off
Driving Licence Required: Yes (Full UK Licence required)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for Residential Children's Support Workers and Seniors to join a well-established residential childcare provider in Liverpool. This organisation also offers supported living services and education, ensuring young people have a stable, nurturing, and supportive environment to thrive.
What You’ll Do:
* Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting
* Help young people develop essential life skills, emotional resilience, and positive relationships
* Manage and support young people displaying challenging behaviours, using de-escalation techniques and a trauma-informed approach
* Engage in activities, promote education, and encourage personal growth
* Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of all young people in the home
* Work collaboratively as part of a team, following care plans and organisational policies
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working within residential childcare setting
* A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential
* A full UK driving licence (Essential – applications from non-drivers will not be considered)
* A willingness to work 2 on, 4 off shifts (including sleep-ins after each shift)
* A strong sense of empathy, resilience, and commitment
