The role of Deputy Practice Manager requires a self-motivated, disciplined individual to take ownership of the efficient day to day running of the Practice, supporting the Practice Manager and Partners, working as a key member of the Management Team. The candidate should offer strong leadership with business, financial and people skills to continue to drive the Practice forward by identifying, and acting upon, practice and business oppurtunities. Ensuring contract obligations are met and provide updates to staff as required. You will be involved in a wide range of activites, including business planning, handlind financial systems (including payroll), supervising non-clinical staff. Developing and supervising the appointment system and their development, maintaining accurate records, liaising with the local Primary Care Network (PCN) and Integrated Care Board (ICB). You will also be responsible for developing strategies for the Practice on issues such as computer systems, security, HR, expanding services and long term services.
