Job Description
My client are a leading Law Firm. They are seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join their Birmingham office on a full-time, permanent basis.
Conveyancer - The Role
1. Manage your own caseload, including sales, purchases, transfers and re-mortgages of residential leasehold and freehold property (registered, unregistered, new builds)
2. Carry out lease extensions and auction transactions
3. Supervise junior fee earners and support staff
4. Manage and build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and introducers
5. Comply with all internal and external audits
6. Share information and best practice with colleagues wherever possible
7. Follow the firm's detailed policies and procedures
8. Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements
Conveyancer - The Candidate
9. 3 years PQE
10. Extensive and sound experience of working in residential conveyancing, including the more complex aspects
11. Working knowledge of referral arrangements and strong awareness of compliance issues
12. Familiarity with the CQS and panel memberships
13. Business development skills
14. IT literate with an understanding and willingness to pioneer and embrace system development to build efficiencies
15. Experience of building relationships with both new and existing clients and professionals
