We’re currently undergoing recruitment for a very exciting opportunity for a Junior Architect to join our client in the Welshpool area. This is a largely remote working position, although there will be a requirement to visit onsite on a regular basis.

£30,000 per annum
Main roles and responsibilities:
Assist in the development of design concepts and detailed architectural plans under the guidance of senior architects.
Collaborate with project teams to produce drawings, renderings, and technical documentation using software.
Support the preparation of planning and building control applications, ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and standards.
Conduct site visits to assess project progress, gather measurements, and address design challenges.
Participate in client meetings and contribute to presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
Research materials, construction methods, and sustainability practices to inform design decisions.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Skills and qualities:
A strong passion for design.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture is advantageous, but not essential
Strong proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial.
Knowledge of UK building regulations, standards, and construction methodologies is beneficial.
Exceptional design and visualization skills with an eye for detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and adapt.
