GSL Education are recruiting Education/Psychology/Childcare Graduate Teaching Assistants to support students academically and aid the class teacher in the development of the students. Our client is specifically looking for graduates who are pursuing a career in teaching. The ideal candidate will be flexible to work across EYFS through to Year 11. The role includes providing general classroom support, 1:1 support, small group interventions, classroom teaching, and leading booster sessions.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
* Is able to raise and sustain high standards
* Has a minimum of 6 months experience working in an Education or Child Care Setting
* Has a Degree or Equivalent in a Subject Specialism - English, Child Care, Health and Social Care, Psychology, SEN, etc.
* Ideally has experience working with children and/or young people
* Is an innovative and creative practitioner with a drive and passion to ensure all students achieve
* Holds enthusiasm for working with a range of students with differing needs and abilities
* Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills
* Has good knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum and how young children learn
* Has experience of working collaboratively within a team to provide a stimulating learning environment
* Can share expertise, knowledge, and understanding of young children’s needs and achievements with parents and staff
