Position: Head of Group HR
I. Purpose for the Job The Head of Group HR will play a pivotal role in supporting Care for Children's global growth and development. This role includes leading all aspects of human resources management, such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and organisational development. The aim is to build a high-performing team that will help achieve the organisation's goals in line with the three-year strategic plan.

This role includes leading all aspects of human resources management, such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and organisational development. The aim is to build a high-performing team that will help achieve the organisation's goals in line with the three-year strategic plan. II. Key Objectives
* Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the three-year strategic plan.
* Lead the recruitment process across various departments and levels.
* Develop and implement effective onboarding programs.
* Design and implement performance management systems and processes.
* Serve as a trusted advisor on HR-related matters.
* Identify and coordinate training programs and initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Champion a culture of collaboration, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
* Develop succession plans for key talent.
* Establish KPIs and metrics to track HR performance.
III. Impact of Results The Head of Group HR will ensure the smooth implementation of HR strategies, promoting a positive work environment that fosters collaboration, diversity, equity, and inclusion. This will support the organisation's goal of placing disadvantaged children into good, local families. Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in human resources management.
* CIPD certification preferred.
* Strong knowledge of UK HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations. International HR experience is an advantage.
* Experience in nonprofit organisations and/or international development preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to translate organisational goals into actionable HR initiatives.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
