We have an interim opportunity for a highly skilled Corporate Governance Consultant to join our dynamic team, ensuring the seamless management of listed PLC and global subsidiaries. In this role, you will work closely with the Deputy Company Secretary and other team members to maintain the efficient, day-to-day operations of the Secretariat. The ideal candidate will be CGI-qualified with significant experience, comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment, and capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation. This is a diverse role where you will play a key part in supporting the Deputy Company Secretary to optimise the performance of the Secretariat team.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days working in the London office.
#LI-MS1 Key Responsibilities We are looking for a driven Corporate Governance professional to assist with key Plc Board and Committee processes, manage PDMR share dealings, and oversee the Annual Report and AGM delivery. You'll lead the production of AGM Notices, work closely with corporate lawyers, and handle FCA filings. You will also provide guidance on global subsidiary governance, corporate finance projects, and compliance. With direct management of two Company Secretarial Assistants, you'll ensure seamless subsidiary and plc compliance, while also leading M&A-related projects. What are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced professional with strong technical expertise in MAR, DTR, the Companies Act, and Listing Rules. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, capable of managing multiple projects autonomously, and skilled in prioritising tasks under pressure. You'll excel at balancing conflicting priorities, offering clear and commercially aware advice, and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with team members and represent the team to internal and external parties. Experience in a listed plc environment, as well as proficiency in Board Intelligence software and Blueprint Oneworld/GEMS, is essential.
