Our client is a leading machinery manufacturer, that values hard work, teamwork and developing people. They are a leading design and manufacturing company, supplying to a number of sectors. They're looking to expand their Design team along with their increase in customer orders. They are looking for a Design Engineer that wants to develop their career and take responsibility across different areas of the business.
Role & Responsibilities:
Design from scratch bespoke machinery for customers
Work well within a team of other Design Engineers
Take responsibility for individual projects
Working with Autodesk to create 3D designs
Works include mechanical designs- hydraulic and pneumatics
Electrical and electronic designs- panel Layouts and Electrical Schematics
Client travel is required to understand customer specifications
Assist in machinery improvements on customer sites
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Autodesk Inventor experience
Strong mechanical and electrical understanding
SolidWorks and/or CAD (desired)
Shopfloor experience
