Cover Supervisor Location: Sutton-In-Ashfield Pay: £100- £120 p/day Start date: ASAP Working hours: 8:15am - 3:15pm Monday - Friday, FULL TIME A welcoming secondary school located in the Sutton-In-Ashfield area looking for a Cover Supervisor to join them in January. This is a diverse and fast paced position and the successful candidate will be covering a range of lessons across the school. The role of a Cover Supervisor involves covering class absences and acting as a teacher using work and lessons provided by the school. This can be a challenging role and there is an expectation to be a dynamic and adaptable, as well as being confident in leading classes of up 30 students. This school will provide an induction and taster day for potential candidates to give the opportunity the meet the staff and students and get a feel for the school. This a really supportive school and they encourage candidates who are perhaps considering a career in teaching, they even have their own teaching training programme. This is a perfect role for someone who is considering a career in teaching and would like to gain classroom experience. There are no set qualifications required for this position. Sports coach's, youth workers, graduates, activity leaders etc are usually very suitable for this position. Candidates must be ready to start work in September and be able to work 8:15am - 3:15pm. Previous experience of managing challenging behaviour and working in a fast paced environmental is desirable but not essential.
