We’re looking for a passionate and organised Chef and Catering Coordinator to work in a busy kitchen serving up to 50 residents daily in our homeless hostel. This is more than just a cooking job – it’s a chance to empower people, build community, and make a real difference. We are looking for 22 – 28 hours per week (negotiable) and Two weekends out of four to be included within those hours Key Responsibilities: Help Plan and prepare budget-friendly, nutritious meals using seasonal ingredients Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment Assist with food sourcing, stock, and kitchen budgeting Deliver in-house cooking and life skills training to residents Assist and develop our Kitchen Assistant Training Programme Organise community-building meals and events like BBQs and themed dinners We’re looking for someone who: Has experience working within a kitchen and working within a budget Is passionate about food, community, and social impact Can inspire and support people on their journey to independence Is a strong role model with a focus on inclusion and empowerment Join us to help improve confidence, independence, and employment prospects for people affected by homelessness
