The fully equipped theatre suite with ultra clean air technology is particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacements, including hip resurfacing and spinal surgery. Our new development at Glendon Wood is a combined investment of £14.5 million and will provide much need Outpatient (including Physiotherapy) diagnostics and Theatre capacity to support the current waiting times for secondary care as well as meet the future demands of an ageing and growing local population reaching over 250k people in Kettering, Corby, and Wellingborough. The Day Case facility will provide 2 x Laminar Flow Theatres, Endoscopy Suite, an Ambulatory Service, static CT, MRI, X-Ray, and Ultrasound, 6 x Consulting Rooms and 1 x Treatment Room. Our new facility will be launched at a time when Kettering General Hospital propose to commence their own redevelopment of their existing site. We can therefore provide capacity and support to the local Healthcare system whilst this is taking place. The role : The successful applicant will be highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and have the ability to deliver an efficient provision of Medical Records. You will need to have the ability to organise and prioritise your workload and the workload of the team whilst working under pressure, be target driven and have a proven track record of achieving results. The role will report in to the Medical Records Team Lead and work with Outpatient and Inpatient Teams, Clinical Teams, Senior Managers, Consultants and Consultant Secretaries. The working hours are 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities: Ensure Medical Records information is available at all times through close liaison with the Outpatient and Inpatient Booking teams to allow compilation of both Outpatient Clinics and case notes for Admissions Ensure case notes are compiled on a timely basis so they are available for outpatient clinics in advance of the patients' attendance Ensure the filing of blood, pathology and x-ray reports, (and all other pertinent information) is completed on an ongoing basis so that the full information is available for consultants and nursing staff when required Locating and creating TCI notes for the ward Maintain the archiving and storage of Medical Records on an ongoing basis Efficient provision of copy Medical Records when requested by external parties (e.g. patients/solicitors etc.) Ensure patient administration system (PAS) records are updated on a timely basis with all relevant information Ensure all patient notes are tracked correctly using appropriate methods and ensure all other hospital departments adhere to this requirement Undertake ad-hoc analysis, projects as requested Ensure reporting deadlines are met within agreed timescales What you'll bring with you: The ability to make decisions and use your initiative MAXIMS experience Strong communication skills A flexible and positive attitude Benefits: 25 Days Leave Bank Holidays Private Pension where Ramsay will match up to 5% after a qualifying period Flexible shift patterns available where possible Enhanced Competitive Parental Leave Policies Private Medical Cover with option to add partner & dependants Life Assurance (Death in Service) x3 base salary Free Training and Development via the Ramsay Academy Free Parking on site (where possible) Subsidised staff restaurant (where possible) Concerts for Carers Employee Assistance Programme Cycle2Work scheme available, in partnership with Halfords The Blue Light Card Scheme About us: Ramsay Health Care UK is a well-established global hospital group with over 50 years' experience.
