SEN Teaching Assistants Needed - Primary Schools Across WN2
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with additional needs in primary schools across the WN2 area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and gain valuable experience in inclusive education.
Key Details:
- Immediate start available for flexible, part-time, or full-time roles.
- Earn £84 - £100 per day, depending on experience and role.
- Flexible availability: work between 2-5 days a week to suit your schedule.
- Opportunities to work in a variety of primary schools across WN2, with strong support for SEN learners.
Your Role:
- Work closely with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
- Assist in the management of classroom behaviour and create a supportive, nurturing learning environment.
- Help students with personal care, if required, and provide emotional support to boost their confidence and engagement.
- Collaborate with class teachers and SENCOs to monitor progress and ensure individual needs are being met.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting.
- Relevant qualifications, such as CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent, in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
- A caring and empathetic approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with children.
- Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Location & Accessibility:
The schools are located across the WN2 area, with easy access via public transport and local roads. These positions are ideal for those living in or around Wigan, Hindley, and surrounding areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
