Client Portfolio Manager | Swindon | Full Time | Competitive Salary
A leading independent chartered accountant and business advisory practice located in Swindon, Wiltshire is seeking a Client Portfolio Manager to join their team to provide professional and efficient technical processing, support & advice on the collation and reporting of Accounts across a broad client base from sole traders to limited companies, ensuring adherence to deadlines and processing budgets.
Responsible for managing the Accounts Team and supporting the Partners with a growing portfolio of clients, covering bookkeeping, management accounts, statutory accounts, corporation tax and personal tax.
The role will demand a consistently high standard of professional practice including management of a portfolio of clients whilst reviewing work and assisting team members/trainees.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Preparation & production of accounts from collation and processing to report and analysis
* Ensure timely presentation of accounts within budget and to annual/periodic deadlines.
* Preparation of management accounts
* Prepare corporation and personal tax computations
* Conduct client review meetings and provide timely response to client requests for support & advice
* Mentoring, training & supervision of employees including overseeing progress of delegated tasks
* Development of internal procedures and workflow efficiencies
Key Competencies/Requirements
* ACCA or ACA qualified.
* Accountancy practice experience essential
* Minimum 2 years post qualification experience
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Highly organised & able to work autonomously
* Ability to mentor junior members of staff
* Confident communicator – provide advice with regards to accounts
* Audit experience would be an advantage
