The role is to lead the population of the UK Cost Engineering Database with normalized and cleaned NRC and RC data from the reviews associated with Weapon Systems and Munitions.
Salary: Circa £45,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
The successful candidate will need to understand and categorize different system elements in a consistent, transparent way. Responsibilities include:
* Support the establishment of the Cost Target brochure
* Contribute to the definition of the offer cost base
* Support the implementation of Design for Competitiveness approach in bid preparation
* Support the creation, calibration, and use of cost models
What we're looking for from you:
* Experience in Production and Engineering dealing with Weapon System platforms (Maritime or Air) or Missiles
* Beneficial to have experience in the use of engineering and management tools (SAP, P6, DRM, MATRIX)
* Proven understanding and experience of improving Cost Estimating credibility
* Experience with Microsoft Excel to manage varying volumes of cost data
