Job summary An exciting internal secondment opportunity has arisen for experienced midwives to join our established Preceptorship team for 6months at Liverpool Women's Hospital. The role will involve the clinical and managerial facilitation of a period of structured transition for the newly registered and internationally educated midwives providing clinical and pastoral guidance and support. The Preceptorship midwives will be highly visible in the clinical areas working alongside preceptees and supporting the partnership between them and clinical leads. Please note this is a secondment and you will need the support of your Line Manager to be released for the secondment period. Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible for leading training and development strategies by the delivery of some aspects of clinical education required within the Preceptorship period. They will be an excellent role model and ensure that they demonstrate and embed the trust values and behaviours throughout the Preceptorship period for preceptees, as they continue on their career and journey of life-long learning.
