Job summary Fixed Term: 12 months | Full-time (part-time hours considered) We are looking for a Pathway Coordinator to join the Surgery, Critical Care, and Diagnostics Care Group. You will work with clinical teams, operational managers, and waiting list coordinators to ensure patients receive timely care along their treatment pathway. You will track patients' progress, address any delays, and help deliver smooth patient journeys, all while ensuring compliance with the national 18-week Referral to Treatment (RTT) target. This is an exciting opportunity to help us improve patient care - apply today Main duties of the job Reporting into the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include: Work with operational managers, clinical teams, and waiting list coordinators to ensure timely and appropriate appointments for patients. Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and managerial colleagues to enhance patient care pathways and gain an in-depth understanding of the pathways within each specialty. Provide local expertise on the national Referral to Treatment (RTT) 18-week target and monitor progress. Track data, ensuring patients move smoothly through the 18-week pathway, identifying any delays in the clinical pathways to meet the RTT target.
