Responsibilities:
1. Assessing the needs of women, partners, families, and carers.
2. Plan, deliver and evaluate standards of evidence-based midwifery care.
3. Providing full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations, and screening.
4. Identifying high-risk pregnancies.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A minimum of 12 months paid experience as a Midwife within the last 2 years.
2. Degree / Diploma in Nursing.
3. Copy of Neonatal Rhesus and CTG training certificates.
4. Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
5. Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
Shift Patterns: 7:30am to 3:30pm, 7:30am to 12:30pm, 9am to 5pm, 12:30pm to 8:30pm, 3:30pm to 8:30pm, 8pm to 8am. Other shift times also available.
