If so, this Financial Controller position could be the perfect fit The Role As the Financial Controller, you'll lead a finance team of 2-3. You will play a key role in driving financial performance, enhancing processes, and acting as a strategic finance partner across the business. Your responsibilities will include: Financial Leadership - Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking. Business Partnering - Work closely with operations, project managers, and other key stakeholders. Audit & Compliance - Act as the main contact for year-end audits and IARs for project requirements. Project Finance & R&D Tax - Manage grant-funded projects, R&D tax claims, and reconciliations. Month-End Reporting - Review transactions, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations. Payroll & Payments - Oversee payroll accuracy, input bank payments, and ensure invoices are paid within terms. Financial Process Improvement - Develop enhanced reporting to drive informed decision-making.
