The Role: We are seeking a proactive and motivated Assistant Site Manager to join our clients dynamic team. Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager you will assist in overseeing the successful delivery of a commercial and residential build project. Responsibilities: Support the Site Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades on-site. Monitor health and safety compliance and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel. Assist with site logistics, material management, and scheduling. Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets the required specifications and quality standards. Prepare progress reports Attend site meetings and liaise with project teams, clients, and external consultants. Requirements: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with a Tier 2 contractor. Strong understanding of commercial and residential construction processes. Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
