Your Mission:
As our Health and Safety Manager, you will be the champion of safety within our organisation, ensuring that every team member can perform their duties in a safe environment. Your expertise will help us identify hazards, implement effective safety programmes, and foster a culture of safety first!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
2. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards.
3. Lead safety training programmes for employees at all levels.
4. Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
5. Investigate incidents and accidents, providing thorough reports and recommendations.
6. Stay up–to–date with industry regulations and best practises.
What You Bring:
1. 3 years proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
2. NEBOSH and IOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety.
3. Experience in managing and delivering ISO14001 Environmental Management system.
4. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. A proactive approach to problem–solving and risk management.
