We have a new and exciting opportunity available for a tenacious individual to join our People team as our People Services Improvement Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. Whilst we offer flexibility to work from home, you would be required to attend our office in Peterborough (Hampton) at least once a week. As the People Services Improvement Manager, you will coordinate improvements across four core teams: AskHR, HRSS, Payroll, and Resourcing. You will identify and document current processes, analyse future processes, and prioritise improvement actions. Your goal is to improve the reliability and quality of processes within the People Services function for the benefit of the team and colleagues across Mencap.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate improvements across AskHR, HRSS, Payroll, and Resourcing teams.
* Identify and document current processes to analyse future processes.
* Prioritise and plan delivery of improvement actions, measuring benefits.
* Oversee performance improvements in these teams, reporting on reliability and quality enhancements.
* Improve reporting of customer issues and resolution processes.
* Identify tools and changes required for process improvements.
* Track benefits from process improvements.
* Coach colleagues to encourage initiative in process improvement and increase focus on customer service.
We are looking for someone who has:
* Proven experience of supporting teams through continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of what great people transactional service looks like.
* Experience in challenging and supporting others to drive improvements in performance.
* Experience of using people systems and making improvements in process and procedures.
It is not essential to have previous experience within the Charity or Social Care sector. We are open to consider any background, but you must have experience of people change, transformation and/or project management.
