St Leonard’s Hospice is investing in fundraising with our fantastic community of supporters. We want everyone to know about the difference our work makes and how they can be part of making it happen – in this case through the wonderfully generous act of including a gift to the Hospice in their Will. As we celebrate 40 years since admitting our first patient, St Leonard’s Hospice is recruiting a dedicated Gifts in Wills Fundraiser to join our growing Fundraising team. Based in the fundraising office, you will be responsible for the promotion of gifts in Wills and for the care of Hospice supporters who choose to give in this way. This will include: Planning, promoting and delivering campaigns, events and activities Oversight, development and promotion of the processes through which supporters can leave a gift to the Hospice Engaging with supporters who tell us they’ve included the Hospice in their Will Our ideal candidate will have: A record of success in fundraising and/or marketing Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust and to engage compassionately and sensitively with bereaved people Empathy, patience and understanding What we can offer you in return: Generous annual leave entitlement of up to 41 days Attractive pension schemes Extensive employee discounts Training and development opportunities This is part time role, working 22.5 hours per week within normal office hours between Monday – Friday.
