You’ll be responsible for: Managing the gross payroll reconciliations for UK payrolls. Preparing and processing all payroll related accounting entries in the general ledger. Preparing reconciliations for loan adjustments and payment deductions. Reviewing and analysing the general ledger to ensure that payroll transactions are accurate. Collaborating with payroll team to ensure all information is obtained on a timely basis to help determine correct accounting. Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll data. Assisting with internal and external audits to ensure compliance. Driving process improvement initiatives to ensure best practice. Providing accurate and timely completion of required month-end payroll reconciliations. Developing working relationships with (range of) internal stakeholders. Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work. You’ll need to have: Basic knowledge of professional accounting standards. Basic knowledge of transactional accounting and close processes. Intermediates excel user. Collaborates well with internal and external stakeholders, building trusting and respectful relationships. Demonstrates clear, concise written and verbal communication.
