An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to join our team as Administrative Assistant/Laboratory Support. We are seeking an enthusiastic team player with a meticulous approach to clerical work and data entry, capable of undertaking repetitive daily tasks that have no completion/end date.
Full training will be provided. The successful candidate will work closely with members of both the research and diagnostic laboratory staff and the administrative team within the Clinical Genetics department. The Genomics Laboratory at the Royal Devon University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is at the forefront of NHS Genomic Medicine, providing state-of-the-art diagnostic testing for families with rare diseases across the UK and beyond.
The team collaborates with an internationally acclaimed research team with expertise in the genetics of diabetes and hyperinsulinism, providing a range of specialist tests to users throughout the world. The laboratory partners with the Bristol Genetics Laboratory as the South West Genomic Laboratory Hub, with the Exeter Laboratory focused on specialist endocrine services and exome/genome analysis for rare diseases.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, 09:00 to 17:30
