Our Aberdeen service is recruiting a Female Support Practitioner offering 30 hours per week. This post is driver essential. Candidates will hold a full UK manual driving licence and be willing to drive a work vehicle. Join us in making a real difference and embark on a fulfilling journey at Sense Scotland. About the service Based in the Northfield area of Aberdeen, your new role will be to support a lady in her home with all aspects of her daily life. The support you will provide will include, full personal care, administering of medication and money management. The lady is deaf and communicates using symbols, and body language. She is a very outgoing social person who likes to be out and about in the community. You will provide the support to allow her to enjoy her chosen activities such as swimming, baking and bowling. Please note; this is a 24/7 service which includes a mixture of shift patterns that can be shorter mid shifts to support her on her outings, to full days with a sleepover. Therefore, you must be fully flexible to meet the needs of the role. Sometimes the people we support need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a female colleague is required. This is an occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
