Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Term-Time Only
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with additional learning needs, this opportunity could be perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to students in their learning and overall well-being, helping them reach their full potential.
2. Facilitate engaging learning activities under the guidance of the teacher, contributing to a well-rounded curriculum.
3. Build positive relationships with students to ensure they feel safe, supported, and engaged in their education.
4. Track and evaluate student progress, offering feedback to promote their development.
5. Uphold high standards of safeguarding and student welfare in line with school policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
6. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher.
7. GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or 4 and above).
8. Experience working with SEN, SLD/PMLD, ADHD, and ASD is highly desirable.
9. Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
10. Experience managing challenging behaviours and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
