THE ROLE Part of the Gravity Media technology team in both of our West London facilities. Leading a support team who are responsible for the BAU support, focused on post production and technical workflows across the sites. You must have accountability and be able to work well within a team. You will be able to communicate clearly, both written and verbal to technical colleagues and to non-technical partners. MAIN DUTIES · Lead role as the onsite client champion, providing technical operational support in the planning and delivery of the production across the facility. · Central point of contact for engineering in terms of post production requirements / fault finding and escalation process · Understanding fully all of the client requirements, interpreting those requirements and working with the technical teams to ensure a smooth delivery. · Communicating all requirements to the internal teams and following up to ensure that all priorities are clear and project milestones for delivery are being met. · Work in partnership with the Bookings team and Production teams, to ensure efficient utilisation of all technical and human resources. · Creation and delivery of all technical schematic explainers and associated documentation. · Management of equipment failure to ensure minimal disruption to transmissions. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE To enable you to perform this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following as a minimum: · A real understanding and extensive knowledge of the production process, particularly in a dynamic facility. · Have an ability to encourage your team to understand existing and developing technologies and how they can be applied to the business. · Proven ability to successfully form and manage relationships with production partners and clients in an international environment. · A strong communicator who can influence others.
