Job summary We are seeking to recruit two motivated individuals with excellent people skills and with specific interest in rehabilitation, recovery and promoting independence to support our client group to live a meaningful life in the community. Westway's rehabilitation teamwork with individuals to turn the corner in their recovery with a focus on reablement, confidence building and re-finding or developing skills that will support rehabilitation. You will work closely with service users, their families/carers and multi-disciplinary team to provide a holistic approach to mental health recovery. Using a recovery approach, we help people to maintain their health, moving them towards greater autonomy, to manage their illness and maintain independence in the community. Our team work closely with families and carers using a behavioural family therapy approach, supporting them to cope and facilitate the building of positive relationships. An experienced RMN/RNLD who is enthusiastic about working with people with complex mental illness and who can demonstrate a real commitment to providing high quality and compassionate care. To that end, you will be a key individual to lead the shifts on a day-to-day basis, ensuring service users' needs are met, medical concern and psychosocial stressors are identified and handed over to the MDT.
