In collaboration with the Associate Director of Governance and hospital anddivisional leadership teams the post holder will provide visible senior leadership anddirection to ensure that there are effective governance mechanisms in place withinthe specialties, care groups and divisions.The post holder will be expected to implement and sustain the Trusts qualitygovernance programmes. This will include co-ordination and leadership of theTrusts risk and incident management, litigation, audit and complaints functionswithin the divisions.The postholder will work across multiple divisions and, in close collaborationwith divisional directors, to plan and implement a range of effective servicedevelopments and manage the Governance Leads.The post-holder will have responsibility for investigation of the Trusts most seriousincidents and the implementation of associated learning. They will be responsiblefor managing the long-term implementation of learning that emanates from safetyalerts, audits and incidents by ensuring there are appropriate assurancemechanisms in place
