A position has become available for Business Development Manager at Pendley Manor Hotel .
The Hotel recently underwent a major refurbishment of its bedrooms and leisure and spa facilities.
Maintaining existing relationships with conference booking agencies is vital in order to raise the profile of the facilities to build a new corporate/MICE client base.
Key aspects of the job are:
* Maintaining existing strong relationships and managing key accounts with local corporates, SME agents and TMCs
* Growing revenue particularly within the corporate market
* Attending key events, networking, exhibitions, wedding fayres and association meetings
* Conducting site visits of the Hotel
* Management of national accounts through the RFP process;
* Weekly and monthly reporting on sales activities and revenues;
* Input into internal and external marketing and advertising activities;
* Input into Hotel budget, commercial plan and sales & marketing strategy documents;
This role would suit and existing Sales Manager or Business Development Executive looking for their next challenge. Previous experience is essential.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, self-motivated and the ability to manage their own time. You will be responsible for your own diary.
The role will include nationwide travel.
