Maintenance Engineer
Working in exclusive partnership with an international advanced pharmaceutical and medical device business that are expanding operations across all of their UK facilities, I am now supporting the hire of a brand new addition to the Engineering team as an equipment operator and engineer.
Working in a small team, you will maintain and operate a high-tech pharmaceutical manufacturing system in order to support the planned manufacture of advanced pharmaceutical products. The plant operates on a 24-7 production routine, and therefore you will need to work a weekly rotating shift pattern to be available to supply the support needed for the facility.
Whilst full training will be provided, given the nature of the equipment, you will bring with you experience in a manufacturing setting and have an engineering background. Shift patterns will be rotated weekly and will include night shifts as well as occasional work on a Saturday.
Requirements:
1. Experience within a maintenance engineering position in a manufacturing focused business.
2. While both electrical and mechanical backgrounds will be considered, there is a preference for an electrical bias due to the skills required in the team.
3. Experienced in both reactive and proactive maintenance.
4. Access to own transport is necessary due to the location of the facility and the shift work.
Skills Required: Maintenance, engineering, engineer, mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), regulated, pump, HVAC, motors, cyclotron, filters, operator, reactive, proactive, PPM.
