Description
To provide high quality administrative support to support the Learning and Development and wider People function with a focus on providing administrative and logistical support, manage learning systems, and helping to foster a culture of continuous learning.
The Learning and Development Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the planning, development, and delivery of learning and development initiatives across Crown Estate Scotland.
This role is essential in ensuring that staff have access to high-quality learning opportunities that align with both personal development goals and the organisation's strategic objectives and support delivery of our People Strategy.
Administrative tasks such as
Learning and development support
Reporting
Training event management
Administrate the training process across CES, organise course bookings, room bookings, communicate with delegates and trainers and ensure that evaluation forms are sent out, collated and analysed.
Ensure the L&D calendar is regularly and accurately maintained for all learning events through the HR system (Cascade) and the relevant intranet pages.
Administrator user for our online learning platforms - iHasco, LinkedIn, Cascade
Maintain workshop attendee lists, ensuring attendance levels are met, appropriate delegates are in attendance, workshops are full or meeting minimum capacity guidelines and waitlists are managed effectively to maintain customer satisfaction.
Take an active role in the development and implementation of L&D projects supporting key organisational objectives
Responsibility for advertising available development opportunities utilising all available communication channels
Provide an initial contact point for staff and external customers and handle a wide range of Learning and Development issues. This includes direct responsibility for monitoring the L&D mailbox and responding within agreed SLAs.
Act as subject matter expert/super user for the learning management system, interrogating data, manipulating and producing reports and identifying trends and issues
Profile
Minimum 2-year experience of administration ideally in a Learning and Development or HR environment
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage a variety of tasks and events at the same time
Experience of reporting HR/L&D Data in a concise and meaningful manner
Numeracy and competent user of Microsoft Office suiteJob Offer
