Benefits Flexible working Access to our online Worker Portal, where you can view your weekly pay slips and book your holidays 28 days holiday entitlement per year pro-rata, accrued as you work Employee Assistance Program where you can receive discounts & offers for you and your family Day to Day Duties As the face of the business in the local area, your day will start with you spending time ensuring you have everything needed for the day ahead Delivering furniture, home furnishings and white goods to customer's homes Using a hand-held computer device to act as a routing system and obtain customer signatures for deliveries Ringing ahead of a delivery to ensure the customer is at home Completing daily checks to ensure you have everything needed to be delivered for the day Manual handling is involved in this role as you will be assisting the driver to deliver items Essential Skills Good time keeping A professional appearance and attitude Confident when dealing with people The ability to work equally well as part of a team and on your own initiative Familiar with manual handling techniques of heavier items Desirable Experience Experience in a similar delivery role would be an advantage but not essential, as training will be given Training Training on the PDA scanners, manual handling and routing systems provided Apply Apply today by clicking below
