A part-time billing/AR job has become available at one of our clients in Bromley.
Working Pattern - 16 hours over 3 days, one of which must be spent in the office and rest from home.
Your new role
* Handle requests for invoice creation from various sources, ensuring accurate and timely dispatch of invoices and statements.
* Serve as the primary contact for internal and external queries via phone, email, and post, ensuring timely follow-up and communication.
* Utilise multiple systems and controls to reconcile accounts and determine settlement figures.
* Perform administrative tasks to support recovery workflows, including the precise allocation of payments.
* Manage the processing of payments and refunds, including handling Direct Debit mandates and related administrative tasks.
* Contribute to the review and enhancement of existing processes, supporting the implementation of improvements and participating in relevant meetings.
What you'll need to succeed
* Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
* Previous billing/invoicing and reconciliation control experience is ESSENTIAL.
* Proven customer service experience, dealing with individuals, some of whom will be vulnerable.
* Confident speaking on the phone - clear and effective.
* Good IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Actively contribute as a team member and assist colleagues when needed.
* Attention to detail in producing high-quality and accurate documentation.
* Self-motivated and experienced in meeting agreed-upon targets.
