Job Description
Planet Pharma is partnered with a leading Pharmaceutical client who is seeking to hire a skilled building maintenance person for their site in Hatfield.
This is a critical role in ensuring the integrity, safety, and functionality of the site's infrastructure, including office environments, laboratories, and GMP production lines. Your primary responsibility is to oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of building fabrics to uphold regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Repairing tiles, damaged walls, assisting engineers with flushing, fan core maintenance (filters), repairing light fittings, leaky taps, and moving desks around.
2. Coming from a pharmaceutical or highly regulated environment, understanding the need to plan around business entities and maintain cleanliness in cleanrooms.
3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to schedule and oversee repairs, renovations, and installations.
4. Semi-skilled with experience in building maintenance or facilities management with good knowledge of mechanical and electrical issues.
5. Some ad hoc out of hours work may be required with prior notice.
Key Requirements:
1. IT literate and able to receive training on systems.
2. Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and repairing building fabric issues.
3. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to building maintenance.
4. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
