Plastics Fabricator Dipec Plastics Holdings are long established specialist plastics fabrication Company, offering a range of manufacturing services that are suitable for both trade and direct customers. The business can machine, shape, glue, engrave and mould acrylic and many other forms of plastic offering a wide range of products and materials. A Plastic Fabricator is required to manufacture a diverse range of products and component parts to be fabricated and finished on site. Dipec are looking for a hands on, hardworking, self-motivated individual that will develop and grow as part of a close production team. Required Skills Experience with fabrication in plastics or alternative materials such as wood or metal Proficient with hand tools Proficient with material handling The ability to understand drawings The ability to finish to a high standard and have high quality control standards Ability to work to tight deadlines Preferable but not essential skills Experience with plastic fabrication Experience bending, forming, gluing, cutting, drilling plastics An understanding of the high finish required in plastic fabrication Experience with a range gluing techniques Experience polishing acrylic Ability to understand engineering CAD files where relevant Familiarity with 3rd angle drawings Although experience in plastic fabrication would be preferable, a background in carpentry/joinery or metal fabrication would provide a strong grounding for the role. What you can expect from us 8.5 hours daily, Monday to Friday. (Weekend work, when required) Overtime paid at time and a half and double time on Sunday.
