Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager, you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth in the small-to-mid-market segment. You’ll work closely with an SDR and marketing teams, supported by a steady stream of Marketing and Sales Qualified Leads (MQLs and SQLs). This is a dynamic role that combines lead generation, solution presentations, and full-cycle sales. Key Responsibilities: Lead generation: Identify and qualify leads through outbound prospecting, inbound inquiries, and collaboration with the SDR team. Prospect engagement: Build and nurture relationships with clients via calls, emails, and meetings, tailoring solutions to their needs. Solution presentation: Deliver targeted presentations, demonstrating how the platform addresses client challenges and adds value. Sales process management: Oversee the entire sales journey from initial contact to deal closure, collaborating with senior team members on strategic proposals. CRM management: Maintain accurate records of all activities in HubSpot to streamline the sales process. Market insight: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor movements, and product developments to enhance sales effectiveness. Collaboration: Work closely with the SDR and marketing teams to ensure the effective execution of sales strategies and ensure compliance with industry standards and policies. What We’re Looking For: Proven success in sales roles such as Business Development Manager, Account Executive, or Sales Development Representative. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and nurturing relationships. A desire to grow within a sales-driven role, especially in the SaaS sector. A track record of consistently hitting or surpassing sales targets. A proactive, positive attitude with a “can-do” approach to solving challenges.
