Looking for a Regional Architectural Designer to join the team based in Welwyn Garden City. Reporting to the Head of Technical/Technical Director, you will work alongside external consultants, building control bodies, and suppliers to ensure delivery of specialist design in line with our standards and values.
Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Assisting in the upkeep and development of our working drawing packages for current developments, including updates to the internal and construction specifications alongside standard details to enable the production of our sites.
2. Attending workstreams and collaboration meetings within the regional team and 3rd party consultants and designers to ensure key deadlines are met in line with our standards.
3. Working as part of a busy design team on a range of interesting projects, focusing on the design process and collaboration through to construction.
4. Keeping up to date with any future changes in Building Regulations that may impact our product by proactively researching information to fully understand internal and external customer needs.
About The Candidate
A background in Architectural Design provision, whether through a HNC/HND or an Architectural related degree, is essential. We are seeking to recruit someone who is eager to learn, can work under pressure to meet deadlines, and has a passion for Architectural technology and building regulations. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD Architecture skills is essential, and Revit knowledge would be advantageous.
