We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Accounts Assistant / Office assistant. This role offers to support our finance and management team and contribute to business growth and implement innovative solutions in line with our objectives. If youre passionate and excited to work in a collaborative, results-driven environment, wed love to hear from you Key Responsibilities- As an accounts assistant / office assistant, you will: Manage the day-to-day operations of ecommerce finance function. Collaborate with Managers to identify and develop innovative business opportunities. Prepare and analyse weekly, monthly, and annual reports to monitor results, trends, and forecasts. Assist the financial teams with updating and recording supplier invoices and raising sales invoices accordingly. Ensure accurate recording, filing, and reporting of all financial transactions. Review financial data and reports for discrepancies and ensure accuracy. Support the office manager with various admin tasks. Recording KPIs and various data metrics. Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience- Were looking for someone who possesses: Strong financial and commercial acumen, coupled with an analytical, methodical approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (365), Xero, and Shopify Accounts. Experience in payroll and HR functions. Results-driven mindset, with a commitment to meeting deadlines. Preferred Experience Previous finance administration experience Basic Knowledge on purchase ledgers and invoicing (essential) Background in stock management and implementation of controls. Experience with foreign currencies and FX trade. Experience supplying wholesale clients and managing B2B/B2C online retail operations. Familiarity with international ecommerce sales channels.
