About the OPPORTUNITY
We have a great opportunity for an Application Analyst to join our Central Functions Business Unit. We are flexible in terms of the location of work.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
Reporting to the Hosted Platform Manager, you will be responsible for the technical and functional support, maintenance and development of applications that are used within the Defence Delivery business.
Key responsibilities include:
5. Assist with stakeholder management, user support, analysis, development, testing and production delivery coordination
6. Communicate clearly and regularly with customers in line with SLAs for Support requests and incidents
7. Responsible for timely responses and recommendations on support requests and continuous improvement strategies to customer problems and queries
8. Take ownership for identifying and resolving application malfunctions
9. Develop and contribute to the definition of general specifications and support documentation
10. Contribute to the technology roadmap and assist in adapting and configuring application software packages to suit business needs
11. Create/ assemble modules (application objects and components)
12. Take responsibility for the design and configure test cases for integration and unit tests, perform unit tests
13. Perform and validate solution prototyping
14. Engaged in monitoring performance against quality assurance plans and service continuity
About YOU
15. Demonstrated experience in relevant ICT environment, with prior experience in customer support
16. Knowledge and experience in relevant application domain
17. Take responsibility in providing guidance on application(s) to colleagues, internal stakeholders and customers
18. Effective oral and written communicator, who is able to build successful relationships with business representatives, and customers
19. Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
20. Ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks
21. A current BASELINE, or higher, level Australian Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
22. Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
