In this exciting role, you will oversee a dedicated, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality mental health care to adults in the Colchester area. As a Clinical Manager, you will manage multiple responsibilities, from day-to-day team operations to strategic planning and implementation.
What You'll Do:
* Lead and Inspire: Provide leadership and support to a talented team of practitioners, ensuring high standards of care, professional development, and ongoing engagement within the team.
* Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement service improvement plans, adapting swiftly to meet emerging needs and challenges within the community.
Main duties of the job
* Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations, including caseload management, resource allocation, and service delivery to ensure our clients receive timely, effective, and compassionate care.
* Multifaceted Approach: Take on diverse responsibilities, including safeguarding, risk management, and complex case reviews, all while balancing clinical and operational demands.
* Service Development: Play a key role in identifying areas for growth and improvement, fostering a culture of innovation to enhance patient outcomes and team effectiveness.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
* - Educated to Degree Level, or, equivalent experience
* Professional qualification in Mental Health or equivalent (e.g. SW, OT, RMN)
Desirable criteria
* - Formal management development, e.g. DMS, CMS, etc
Work Experience and attainments
Essential criteria
* - Extensive and varied clinical management experience in mental health services
* - Evidence of post qualifying continued learning and proven awareness of National developments such as in: Dementia.
Desirable criteria
* - Experience of working at the level of a senior professional practitioner
