We are excited to partner with a renowned consultancy specializing in Sustainability, Energy, and Building Services Design, founded in 2012 by experienced industry leaders in multidisciplinary engineering. They are currently seeking to grow their London team by adding an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer with a solid foundation in Sustainability and Energy consulting within the Built Environment. This well-respected firm is known for providing exceptional support to its real estate clients and fostering a flexible, collaborative work culture. Join a dynamic and growing team of engineers, collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals on diverse projects both in the UK and abroad. In this role, you will design HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems across various projects and contribute to the conceptual design of Mechanical and Electrical services. You'll act as a key technical liaison with the Sustainability and Energy teams, perform site inspections for M&E condition surveys, and attend client and design team meetings. Knowledge of life-cycle costing and value engineering is crucial. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, along with at least 3 years of experience in Sustainability and Energy consulting within the Built Environment. In this role, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact across various sectors, including Industrial & Logistics, Commercial, Health care, Retail, and Residential. With substantial responsibility and autonomy, you will play a key role in shaping projects. Experience in designing and performing calculations for GLA-referable projects is highly valued, as the company often undertakes such work.
