At Pure Pet Food, we’re on a mission to change the way pets are fed. We’re one of the UK’s fastest-growing pet food brands, delivering tailored, nutritious meals direct to pet parents. A key part of that journey is meeting customers face-to-face—and we do that more than 2000 times a year at events across the country.
We’re now looking for a hands-on, operationally minded Events & Logistics Manager to lead the setup, flow, and execution of our fast-paced national events programme.
About the Role...
This role is all about making things run. You'll be responsible for ensuring our event kits are always ready, our stands are set up on time, and our teams on the ground have everything they need to deliver. You will be managing a team of logistics drivers and our head of logistics.
While there is a creative thread to the role—designing how we show up visually—it’s ultimately a position for someone who is organised, operational, and solution-focused. If you like fixing problems, managing moving parts, and making the wheels turn behind the scenes, this is for you.
What You'll Be Doing...
🚛 Logistics & Route Management
Plan, schedule, and optimise delivery routes for drivers, ensuring events are stocked, staffed, and stand-ready at all times.
📦 Kit & Inventory Management
Track, organise, and maintain all event kit—gazebos, banners, POS, and samples—making sure nothing is missing, damaged, or out of rotation.
🧯 Operational Troubleshooting
Quick thinking and decisive problem-solving when things go wrong: from vehicle issues to weather challenges or stock shortages.
📊 Performance Tracking & Process Improvement
Use spreadsheets and data to monitor event performance, spot issues, and improve efficiency across logistics, cost, and staffing.
👥 Driver & Event Team Management
Train, brief, and support drivers and event teams so everyone knows what success looks like and has the tools to deliver it.
💰 Cost & Budget Control
Keep logistics running within budget, from kit sourcing to travel spend. Identify where we can cut waste and reinvest in smarter systems.
🎨 (Secondary) Event Setup Design & Engagement
Collaborate with the team on how we show up visually at events—ensuring our stands look sharp, on-brand, and engaging, while being practical to transport and set up.
Coming up with new designs that make us more efficient & give the customer a more immersive experience.

We're Looking For...
✅ Strong experience in operations, logistics, field events, or stock/kit management
✅ Confident in Excel and comfortable managing data, schedules, and budgets
✅ Great at solving problems in real time and thinking two steps ahead
✅ Skilled in managing field teams and ensuring high standards on the ground
✅ Able to juggle multiple moving parts across a national footprint
✅ Confident making decisions and taking ownership of outcomes
✅ Comfortable with some early mornings, weekends, and travel (TOIL policy in place)
✅ Bonus: Some creative experience in event/brand activation setup or visuals

🧾Additional Requirements...
To be successful in this role, you must:
✅ Be able to travel to our Leeds HQ for an 8:30am start (Mon–Wed hybrid)
✅ Hold a full UK driving licence
✅ Have access to your own vehicle for work-related travel
✅ Have prior experience in an operational or logistics-focused role
✅ Ideally have experience owning or managing a P&L
