Our client, a highly regarded Manchester-based property management company, is looking for an organised and driven Assistant Property Manager to join their expanding team in Hale. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business specialising in short-term rental management across platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and VRBO. The Role: As an Assistant Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated portfolio of properties, coordinating guest communication, handling maintenance requests, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This is primarily an office-based role with occasional on-site visits. Key Responsibilities Include: Managing guest communications prior to arrival, ensuring all necessary information is provided for a seamless check-in experience. Handling guest inquiries, concerns, and resolving issues by coordinating with contractors, housekeeping, and maintenance teams. Maintaining detailed records and ensuring all ongoing tasks are tracked and completed efficiently. Creating and managing property listings on platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and VRBO. Conducting site inspections and attending meetings as needed, which may occasionally require early starts. Overseeing small maintenance jobs and coordinating with contractors to ensure work is completed to a high standard. Sending inspection reports to cleaning teams and ensuring cleaning schedules are managed effectively. Ideal Candidate Profile: Previous experience in property management or the short-term rental sector is essential. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage a busy portfolio. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle guest and contractor interactions professionally. Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to solve problems efficiently.
