Blackbrook Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership, seeks to appoint a teaching assistant. We seek to employ a member of staff who is flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the school and has patience.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Working 1:1 with pupils with a range of specific SEND needs as required;
2. Implementing adaptations to learning identified by the class teacher and SENDCo;
3. Working closely with the class teacher, Pastoral Assistant, and other Teaching Assistants supporting the pupil;
4. Medical support for the child;
5. Experience in education;
6. Experience supporting pupils with SEND or SEMH needs;
7. Experience working with high needs children;
8. Experience with medical support for children in school.
Hours of work: Full time. Term time only plus Inset Days. 30.42 hours a week. This is a fixed-term position until 31 Aug 25 with a possible need to extend/make permanent in the future.
